The Natural Hygiene Purpose Of Disease Course (NHC 104) is the fourth Course in the Natural Hygiene Essentials Program (NHEP). This Course explains why your body creates the process we call disease, its purpose for doing that, and what it aims to achieve by doing so. Disease is an active modification of your normal body functions in order to cope with an abnormal situation. The characteristics of both acute constructive disease, and chronic destructive disease are explained.
The processes that occur in disease, from start to finish, are extremely intricate, delicate, and fully controlled by your body. The pro-active, positive healing intentions of the disease process are prone to sabotage by uninformed, foolish intervention.
Allowing, encouraging and supporting the body as it proceeds through its disease and healing processes is the right way to attend to any disease you may be experiencing. The body is the only entity with the intelligence and resources to conduct the remedial processes of disease.
All synthetic drugs are toxic, foreign to the body, and ultimately have very negative effects. The body recognizes them as poisons and makes heroic efforts to expel them quickly.
If the body initiates the disease process, it can be hastened to a successful conclusion all the more speedily if fasting, rest, fresh air, and sunlight are obtained. Disease will not occur if a healthful living regime, which includes occasional fasting, is followed.

- Two types of diseases exist, constructive (acute) disease and degenerative (chronic) disease.
- Disease is a body-instituted process for the purpose of cleansing and repairing.
- All diseases of an acute constructive nature are for a single purpose: to eliminate toxic materials that have accumulated in the body beyond the amount it can tolerate.
- That all diseases of a chronic degenerative nature are an attempt of the body to cope with constant high levels of toxic internal pollution.
- Acute constructive disease is always remedial. Acute diseases are body instituted and conducted for the purpose of cleansing, repair and restoration of body balance or homeostasis.
- Destructive chronic disease is conservative. The body is attempting to cope with unending pollution, and it does its best to conserve as many cells, tissues and structures that it can.
- There are seven distinct stages of disease, which are presented and explained in this Course.
Enrollment
The Natural Hygiene Purpose Of Disease Course (NHC 104) is online, and consists of 5 Lessons, 40 Topics, 4 Lesson Tests and 1 Final Test. Within each Lesson are a number of Topics that cover all the essentials of a particular subject. At the end of each Lesson is a short true/false test. At the end of the Course is a Final Test, which covers all the essential points you learned.
