This Philosophy Course has introduced Natural Hygiene and the fundamental concepts it embodies.

Foremost of these concepts is that health is normal to all life, that organisms flourish when their needs are correctly provided, and that they suffer when their needs are not met, or poorly met.

The science of Natural Hygiene is the study and determination of the true needs of human life. The art of Natural Hygiene is in the application of those needs in a balanced, harmonious fashion.

Another concept is that every individual is sacred and of great worth. Natural Hygiene believes in the dignity of every individual and strives to create the biological foundation in human health practices that assure the realization of our highest potential.

Another premise is that life is to be enjoyed, and that enjoyment must have, as its foundation, physiological well-being or health.

You have learned that organisms are independent entities capable of sustaining health when all their natural needs are properly supplied.

You have learned that healing is a biological process and only a biological process. The healing process can be helped in no way other than the establishment of the conditions favorable to rest, relaxation, and quietude.

You have learned what health is, and had a glimpse of the essential conditions and practices of health.

We have touched on the importance of individual sovereignty, freedom, and liberty as the birthright of everyone.

And finally, you have learned that excellent health is normal to humans, as it is with other animals. You can acquire and secure excellent health by learning and living the Laws of Life, conforming and regulating yourself appropriately, and optimizing your living environment to best support your healthy, natural lifestyle.
