02.08 – Transforming False Beliefs – Part 3
Just remember that it takes time, effort and dedication to de-program yourself… and then re-program in a far more healthy and sane manner. But don’t think that you are alone. There are many, many committed, motivated people in our world who are right now tackling the same issues that you are taking on. The rewards of re-programming yourself into higher levels of truth are huge, and most definitely worth it.
Since this is a Course of Study you are engaged in, it is primarily a mental challenge and accomplishment. Any physical or emotional anxiety you notice as your read and study the NHEP are secondary ‘side effects’ of learning something new. Since this Philosophy Course and all of the NHEP Courses present various new ideas and concepts to you, they will conflict with many current beliefs about health that you already have lodged in your mind; beliefs you have incorporated into your self-identity, beliefs that you act out in your daily life. If you do notice physical or emotional irritation or discomfort during your studies, it is because previous beliefs are being challenged, likely on an unconscious level.
Good. That is as it should be. The more passionate you are about your studies, the more passionate you will be about closely and deeply examining what you are learning. That is the spirit I want to provoke and cultivate within you.
A final suggestion for you as you complete this Lesson: As you move through your NHEP studies, from time to time jump back and review this Philosophy Course, Lesson 2. Your first-time study of this Philosophy Course may seem somewhat abstract, odd, or not very understandable to you with your first pass through it. That is OK. As you move deeper and deeper into the NHEP, and this wonderful knowledge builds inside of you, the important points presented in this Philosophy Course will become strikingly clear, obvious, and profound when you re-read it again.
That’s when Philosophy becomes real to you, deeply and personally true for you.
