05.04 – Self-Healing or Self-Repair
Self-healing is the only healing.
Throughout nature we see animals with cuts, bruises, broken bones, and other injuries undergo healing. Obviously this healing is accomplished solely by internal powers. In nature, an injured animal seeks out a quiet, secluded spot to rest. They undergo almost no activity. They partake of no food. Instinctively an injured animal will cease any activity that detracts from the full devotion of the body’s energies to full repair and healing. We can and should do likewise, for this is the best way to maximize healing quality and minimize healing time.
Healing is always a biological process. Your task is to establish optimal conditions so that your body may maximize the healing process, conducting its healing more quickly and efficiently. The inherent programming, intelligence, and power that developed you from a tiny fertilized egg into a wonderfully and beautifully built creature is all the healing power that is needed. How can it be otherwise? Study and learn about the powers you already possess inside you. Honor them, respect them, work with them, and allow them full reign over all repair and healing efforts that are required within.
Much suffering and grief result from the belief that the body can be helped by the application of substances, conditions, and treatments abnormal to it. Your goal to learn why this is so, and to replace false beliefs and dependencies with truth, reality, self-empowerment, and self-determination.
As an individual dedicated to being as healthy and joyful as possible in your life, it is your duty and responsibility to study, fully comprehend, and apply the optimal conditions of health and healing for yourself. The results you achieve will astound you.
Should you choose to advance into assisting others in learning and practicing Natural Hygiene, you will find great joy and satisfaction in teaching others about the fundamentals of excellent health that you have learned. Telling motivating stories about your own personal experiences, your successes and failures, and the hard-won wisdom you have gained will greatly help to enlighten and motivate those you work with.
Remember that everyone, including you, did not originally have this basic knowledge. Virtually none of us were correctly taught what health is, how to achieve it, and how to maintain it. You have to seek it out, learn it, and apply it yourself… exactly what you are doing right now. You had the desire, found the motivation, made the decision, and took action to learn Natural Hygiene. You are willing to challenge yourself, committed to unlearning and eliminating all the wrong beliefs and fragmented half-truths you currently hold. That is a noble and ambitious task… an effort that will reap countless rewards for many years to come.
I commend you on your commitment. There will be plenty of learning, practicing, and experimenting; many successes and failures along the way. Your health improves, your confidence builds.
I remind you to always be empathetic, patient, and kind to yourself along the way. And encourage the same toward everyone you work with.
